g-stalt, minority report est là

g-stalt est un projet d’étudiants au MIT, il s’agit d’une interface pour manipuler un ensembles de données complexes avec les mains. Ce projet rappele le projet SixthSense et bien sûr aussi le film Minority Report.
g-stalt se base sur une reconnaissance des gestes des mains pour contrôler en 3 dimensions un lot de fichier multimédia.

Voici les gestes qui permettent de contrôler g-stalt:
touching one of the objects on the table downloads images from flickr that are associated with that object's tagmaking this gesture triggers the downloaded photos from flickr to be put into the display spacepinching the air with index and thumb fingers grabs space -- the graphical world moves with your hand as if you are pulling it by the aetherpinch with both hands and you can move and rotate spacethis makes the images fly into a two-dimensional grid facing the userthis gesture randomizes the location of the images in spaceif you get lost out there, put your thumbs over your shoulders. you'll be okay.

Sixthsense et le web squared

Sixthsense est un projet intéressant de Pranav Mistry qui montre le potentiel d’un mix du monde réel et de la richesse du web. Il s’agit d’une solution qui permet d’afficher directement sur des objets réels des informations venant d’internet. Ce qui est aussi spectaculaire c’est le contrôle de cette solution par les gestes humains naturelles.
